Gold '93 Diamante

Found on Ebay - had a reserve of US$7000.  The owner said it had been resprayed Volvo "Burnt Orange" (I think the Volvo catalogue lists it as "Saffron Gold") - a colour which has proven to be very popular - and which has been used by
many modifiers (and imitated by other car manufacturers).
The wheels look nice - 18" Ace Space Hyper Blacks.  The
super-tourer wing is an aluminium piece by Konig.  On the mechanical side,
it features a Weapon-R Intake and a cat-back exhaust (ending in a sexy DTM
dual-tip muffler).  The engine got a full rebuild at 90k.  Apparently
the car hasn't been lowered (hard to tell with such big rims) - but was to
be sold with brand new Intrax springs.  Inside the cabin the dash has
received a dose of carbon fibre detailing, outside, attention is attracted
via a strobe kit.
The ICE is top notch - Panasonic DF88 CD head unit, PPI 225 EQ,
PPI PC2100 and PPI PC4500 amps, an Earthquake Magma sub,  Earthquake Radiator,
KEC by Clarion Television and VCP, MB Quart and Planet Audio speakers.  A
remote alarm (with keyless entry) keeps all this gear as safe as possible.
Apparently the car is a multi-trophy winner - and I don't doubt
it.  It's one of the best Magna/Diamantes I have ever seen in this model.
